I launched Boostcouse after more than ten years in direct-to-consumer ecommerce.
I spent most of that decade on the software side, helping Shopify brands understand their customers, most recently as GM at KnoCommerce. Building tools for consumer brands made me want to build one of my own, so I started making couscous in my kitchen on nights and weekends and launched Boostcous on my 35th birthday. It's 20g of protein, 11g of fiber, gluten free, and ready in five minutes.
I write about what I'm learning as I build in public, from our first $10K day to the messier lessons about balance after a year that included breaking my back and three months on crutches. I live in Carbondale, Colorado, where you'll find me mountain biking, skiing, or out with my girlfriend Meghan and our dog Banjo.
